The story:

 

Your Friend Jambi is a local band from Brooklyn, New York who make very strange music.

And "strange" is just one of our many genres! Your Friend Jambi started as a joke. Literally. AJ Busch and Jude Small took all the pillows and blankets off his bed and called it the pile of kyle. Jude jokingly stated, "That would make a good album cover." and so they made it an actual album cover. And then they made up a whole band called the Impossible Dumplings. Then the quarantine happened, and they had band practice over zoom, with new drummer Jake Kadar.

 

But then he left. And the whole thing just kinda fell apart. But they didn't give up on music, though. Through may to August 2020, Jude & AJ started making music seperately, and eventually Jude started a new band, Kenemvis. With Jude, Brais, and AJ. then Brais left, and Kenemvis was renamed  to Your Friend Jambi. There they recorded the song "Sodding Little Piggies." (as well as few other experiments the following months) and went back to making music seperately. But they came back in December to record their first album, Draguns! Which is coming out in June 2021.
